Replacements, not returns.

If something's wrong with your order, we'll make it right. Damaged? Wrong item? 48-hour replacement, zero fuss.

DORYD doesn't accept returns for change of mind. But if your product arrives damaged or we sent the wrong item, we'll replace it free of cost — no questions asked.

✅When we offer replacement

  • Product arrived damaged (cracked, broken, stained, visibly faulty)
  • Wrong product received (different from what you ordered)
  • Missing items in your order (e.g., pack incomplete)
  • Manufacturing defect (button missing, stitching open, etc.)

✅When we can't offer returns

  • Change of mind — you decided you don't want it anymore
  • Colour/design variation in pre-curated packs (we disclose this upfront)
  • Used, washed, or damaged after delivery products.
  • Request raised after 48 hours of delivery
  • No unboxing video shared as proof of damage

✅How to request a replacement

Follow these steps within 48 hours of delivery:

1. Record an unboxing video — start recording BEFORE opening the package. Show the sealed package, then open it on camera. This is our only proof of condition on arrival.
2. WhatsApp us at +91 85112 28806 within 48 hours with:
• Your order number
• Unboxing video
•Photos of the damage/issue
• Brief description of the problem
3. We verify & confirm within 24 hours.
4. Replacement ships free within 2 business days. No return pickup needed — we trust your video.

Refunds (rare cases)

Refunds are only issued in these specific situations:

  • Replacement product is out of stock and cannot be arranged
  • Order cancellation before dispatch (see Cancellation Policy)
  • Delivery to your pincode is not possible after order placed

Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5-7 business days. For partial-payment orders, only the ₹99 upfront amount is refunded (no COD amount was collected).

Pre-curated packs disclaimer

Some of our products (like hair scrunchie packs) are pre-curated — meaning we pick the exact colours and designs in each pack. We state this clearly on the product page.
We cannot replace or refund pre-curated packs if you don't like the specific designs you received. The colour theme (pastel, bright, neutral) will match what's shown - but exact patterns may vary.

Our promise: We're a small team, not a faceless corporation. If something's genuinely wrong, we'll make it right. But we also need your fairness — the unboxing video and 48-hour window exist to protect both of us.

These Terms of Service and any separate agreements whereby we provide you Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
